Evolve A Cell Wiki

Level-Up Cards

Every time your DNA bar fills, Evolve a Cell offers three cards and you keep one. They come in three flavours: new parts, stat perks, and level-ups for parts you already own.

Quick picks

When in doubt: Big Appetite early (more DNA from everything), Hot Blood or Quick Twitch for speed, and Mending if you keep losing close fights. New-part cards are listed on the Parts page.
CardEffect

Sharp Edges

More damage on contact.

A safe first pick on any meat build.

Mending

Heal faster.

Take it if you keep losing trades by a sliver.

Quick Twitch

Quicker dashes and sharper turns.

Great on Fins builds to cancel the turning penalty.

Thicker Membrane

More health.

Boring, always useful.

Big Appetite

More DNA from eating.

The best economy card. Grab it early and every pellet is worth more.

Hard Shell

Take less damage.

Stack with Shell and Bubble Shield for a tank.

Hot Blood

Swim faster.

Speed is king — take it whenever it shows.

Thorn Skin

Biters get hurt back a bit.

Turns every bite on you into a trade.

Ramming

Dash into cells for big damage.

Core card for Horn and Drill builds.

Bubbles

Bubble-based protection.

Pairs with Bubble Shield.

Quick DNA Boost

15 minutes of double DNA.

Huge if you can stay alive for the full timer.

Evolved Leech Mouth

Leech Mouth heals 25% more.

Makes the Leech Mouth a real sustain engine.

Ink Sack level-up

+12% speed, heal slower.

Fine on runners, skip on brawlers.

Tentacle level-up

Stronger tentacle whips.

Worth it if tentacles are your main damage.
