What is Evolve a Cell?

Evolve a Cell is a Roblox survival game by Splitline: Creative, released on September 26, 2026. It wears its inspiration openly — the description literally says “inspired by Spore” — and plays like that game's cell stage turned into a 16-player server where everyone else is also trying to eat you.

You choose plants or meat, eat to earn DNA, and spend it in an editor (press E) to attach parts. Every few levels you pick one of three cards. Reach stage 4 and you can rebirth for evolution points that buy permanent upgrades. Stage 7 is the Colossus. Along the way, server events and bosses keep shaking the food chain.

We built this Evolve A Cell Wiki because the game moves fast and most of what players know lives inside YouTube videos. So we watched them, wrote down what the cards actually say, and linked every entry to its timestamp.

  1. 1Pick a dietPlants are safer. Meat grows faster once you can fight.
  2. 2Eat and dashSpace dashes. Green food is plants, red is meat.
  3. 3Open the editorPress E. Mouth up front, speed parts behind.
  4. 4Take speed cardsHot Blood, Quick Twitch, Fins, Jets. Speed wins.
  5. 5Rebirth at stage 4Spend points on DNA gain first, then speed.
